We believe Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is for any size, age, strength or ability. We will teach you the skills required to defend yourself using effective techniques, the principles of leverage and the ability to take a fight to the ground.  

Our academy offers a range of classes for various age groups and abilities, allowing each student to train in the most suitable environment.  Through browsing our website we hope you will learn about our club and find inspiration to practice Martial Arts.

Children's Classes

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is not just about physical prowess, the art is also about training the mind and spirit so children learn skills they can take into other areas of their life, such as better concentration and reasoning skills, which are vital for academic success.

There will be regular inter-club, regional and national championships. Participation in these events is optional and we will work with your child so that they are well prepared if they wish to compete.


Adult Classes

For Beginners the focus will be on the fundamentals.  Each class incorporates flow drills designed to help students internalise the fluid body mechanics behind the concept they are learning.  Positional sparring and drilling are also core components as they help to develop muscle memory and physical understanding of the sport.  You will then develop and progress through the phases of learning and condition your body for the sport.
